Outstanding Qualifications

Linda Kundell, founder of "Techniques for Effective Public Speaking," is a public relations executive and classically-trained singer who believes that each of us has the potential to be a good speaker. The program, which originally grew out of workshops for actors and singers, blends the basics of performing techniques with the principles of yoga, breathing exercises, vocal, acting, and relaxation skills, to help speakers develop and enhance their own personal delivery.

The P.R. Connection

As a public relations professional and writer for more than 20 years, Linda Kundell has prepared speeches and presentations for such organizations as the United States Tour Operators Association, American Express, and more. Ms. Kundell has appeared on radio and T.V., and has lectured in the New York metropolitan area.

The Classical Connection

An accomplished, classically trained singer, she has been heard in solo recitals at Carnegie Recital Hall, Merkin Hall, and other venues throughout New York, as well as in opera and cabaret shows in New York, San Francisco, and Israel. Ms. Kundell has studied performance technique and participated in master classes with leading teachers in stage and music, both in the U.S. and Europe.

Seminars and Workshops

In addition to Techniques for Effective Public Speaking, Ms. Kundell teaches a highly successful course on The Art of Public Speaking, at New York 's 92nd Street Y, and leads workshops for singers and actors on How to Sound Better.

Ms. Kundell also coaches privately, and conducts workshops for corporations and organizations. Her students have included business executives, bankers, editors, lawyers, educators, medical and other professionals from many walks of life.
